Level 3 Award in Health & Safety in the Workplace

Who should attend?

Supervisors, owners, team leaders or managers responsible for health and safety of employees.

What are the aims of the course?

To enable managers and supervisors to improve the health and safety culture of their organisation, whatever its size or activity.

What is covered on the course?

The course covers:

  • Concept of health and safety
  • Accidents in the workplace
  • Ill health in the workplace
  • Legal provisions (UK only)
  • Health and safety organisation and management
  • Supervising health and safety.

At the end of the course all candidates will sit a short multiple choice examination.  Following the course examination papers are sent to the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health for marking.  Successful candidates will receive the nationally recognised Level 3 Health & Safety in the Workplace qualification.

How long does the course last?

The course lasts three days.

How much does it cost?

Course costs are £150+VAT per person.  The course fee covers tuition fees, course materials, examination fees and certificate.  We require a minimum of 10 candidates to run a course.
